Kruskal-Wallis Test

Overview

The Kruskal-Wallis test is a non-parametric test of whether more than two independent groups differ. It is the non-parametric version of one-way independent ANOVA. That is, it tests whether the populations from which several independent samples are drawn have the same location.

Warning

This test has been superseded by developments in robust statistical tests. It’s included here for historical reasons.
